In 2015, Newmont laid out a plan to introduce new career-development tools that would drive our efforts to build a more diverse workforce. Today, Newmont launched the first of these tools – a new recruitment website that will bring the most current job opportunities to prospective employees around the globe.
As laid out in our People Policy, we believe our capability to operate and grow our business requires a diverse and talented workforce. Our investment in this new careers website reflects our commitment to recruit, promote and retain employees based on their qualifications, and endorses equitable, accessible and transparent recruiting practices.
Using the new website, prospective candidates can log on and create an employment profile by entering their work history and credentials. As new job openings become available, candidates who have shown an interest in a particular type of role and/or have corresponding qualifications will be notified about the job posting via email so that they can formally apply for the position.
